...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
East Fork White River at Columbus.
East Fork White River at Seymour.
.Recent periods of heavy rainfall have led to minor to moderate
flooding along the East Fork White River near Columbus and Seymour.
Flooding will persist over the weekend into early next week.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement should be issued this evening by around 900 PM
EDT.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...East Fork White River at Columbus.
* WHEN...Until early Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Extensive lowland flooding in progress
along the East Fork White River. CR 800 S is flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 8.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early this morning to a crest of 13.1 feet tomorrow morning.
It will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL WEDNESDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour.
* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 18.3 feet, On April 23, 2011 Historic Rok-Sey roller
staking rink at Rockford was sandbagged. This historic structure
was flooded by 2 feet of water in June 2008 when the river
approached 21 feet.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 16.9 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 4:45 AM EDT Friday was 16.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.3
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage Tuesday evening.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
