Intelligent weather forecasting, powered by AI.
WeatherAI™ exists to make the atmosphere legible. We fuse global weather models, real-time observations, and our own neural ensembles into forecasts that are sharper, faster, and more local than anything traditional weather services can offer.
From the daily commute to a hurricane bearing down on the coast, weather shapes every decision. Our mission is to deliver clear, accurate, and timely weather intelligence to everyone — for free, with no tracking and no clutter.
Our deep-learning ensemble blends ECMWF, GFS, and proprietary AI models, continuously corrected against live feeds from more than 15,000 surface stations, satellites, weather balloons, and commercial aircraft. The result is a unified atmospheric picture refreshed every couple of minutes and resolved down to the neighborhood.
Dr. Robert Firth holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Louisiana State University, where his dissertation pioneered the use of recurrent convolutional neural networks for ocean and weather forecasting. Working with collaborators at NOAA, the U.S. Navy Research Laboratory, and the LSU Earth Scan Laboratory, his research produced machine-learned models that rivaled and outpaced traditional numerical forecast models.
We stand on the shoulders of the meteorological community. Our alerts and underlying data draw on public sources including the U.S. National Weather Service, and we are committed to complementing — never replacing — official guidance during dangerous weather.
