WeatherAI™ is built on a simple principle: we provide weather forecasts and alerts, and we do that without tracking you. We do not build profiles, we do not sell data, and we do not follow you around the internet. This policy explains exactly what we do and do not do with information.

The short version

• We do not track users. No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiling, no selling or sharing of personal data.
• We do not store personal user data. We have no user accounts to build a profile around and we do not retain your browsing activity.
• Location data is used only to deliver the service. When you provide a location — whether typed in or shared by your device — we use it solely to generate the forecast, air quality, and alerts you asked for.
• We keep a small "Trending" list. We retain only the most recent few forecast locations to power the homepage Trending feature. That is the extent of what we store.

Information we use

To return a forecast, we need to know where you want the forecast for. That location can come from:

• A place name, ZIP code, or coordinates you type in; or
• Your device location, if and only if you choose to share it with your browser or device.

We use this location data exclusively to provide the services you request — forecasts, current conditions, air quality, radar, and weather alerts for that area. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than delivering the requested weather information.

What we store

WeatherAI™ does not maintain user accounts and does not store a history of your activity. The one thing we retain is a rolling list of the most recent few forecast locations requested across the service, which powers the "Trending" locations shown on the homepage. This list is short-lived and is not tied to any individual, device, or identity. We do not connect Trending entries back to the person who requested them.

What we do not do

• We do not track you across sites or sessions.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
• We do not build or maintain advertising or behavioral profiles.
• We do not retain your personal location history.

Location permissions

Sharing your device location is always optional and is controlled by your browser or operating system. You can decline location access and still use WeatherAI™ by entering a location manually, and you can revoke a previously granted permission at any time through your device or browser settings.

Third-party data sources

Our forecasts, alerts, and radar are derived from public and licensed meteorological data sources, including the U.S. National Weather Service. Loading map and radar tiles necessarily involves requests to those data providers in order to display imagery; those requests are limited to what is required to render the maps you view.

Children's privacy

WeatherAI™ is a general-audience weather service and is not directed at children. Because we do not collect personal data or maintain accounts, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
