Flood Warning for the following rivers in Florida...
Manatee River Near Myakka Head at SR 64 affecting Manatee County.
.Due to recent heavy rainfall, water levels are rising on the Manatee
River near Myakka Head.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.

* WHERE...Manatee River near Myakka Head at SR 64.
* WHEN...From Friday morning to late Friday night.
* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Private road and bridge 1 mile downstream
flood. Agricultural, rural Kibler area begins to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 9.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 11.2 feet tomorrow morning. It
will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.2
feet on 09/18/2022.
