...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM TO 8 PM CDT TUESDAY...
...EXTREME HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions
  with temperatures of 109 to 111 expected.

* WHERE...Callahan, Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Nolan, Shackelford,
  Taylor, and Throckmorton Counties.

* WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 7 PM CDT this evening.
  For the Heat Advisory, from 1 PM to 8 PM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
  humidity may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Never, ever, leave children or pets alone in enclosed vehicles, not
even for a few minutes. Car interiors can reach lethal temperatures
in a matter of minutes.

Stay indoors and seek air-conditioned buildings. Dress for the heat
by wearing lightweight and light colored clothing. Monitor those with
a higher vulnerability to heat, including small children. Check in on
family, friends, and neighbors, especially the elderly. If engaging
in outdoor activity, take longer and more frequent breaks and avoid
the hottest parts of the day.

* WHAT...For the first Heat Advisory, temperatures of 105 to 108
  expected. For the second Heat Advisory, temperatures of 104 to 107
  expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas.

* WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, until 7 PM CDT this evening.
  For the second Heat Advisory, from 1 PM to 8 PM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
