...The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Ohio...

  Hocking River at Athens affecting Athens County.

For the Hocking River...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free,
800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Hocking River at Athens.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Low sections of Harmony Road begin to
  flood. In Nelsonville, the baseball fields along Watkins Street
  flood. At 20.0 feet, Low areas, campground, and private camps along
  the river between Athens and Coolville begin to flood. Much of the
  city of Athens is protected up to 26 feet by levees. In
  Nelsonville, the baseball field adjacent to Lake Hope Drive floods.
  At 21.0 feet, South Canaan Road and Township Road 605 in the
  vicinity of US Route 50 flood. Glen Ebon Road begins to flood.
  Hockhocking Adena Bikeway near West State Street begins to flood.
  In Chauncey, areas along Ohio Routes 13 and 682 flood. At 21.5
  feet, Four homes along 1100 block of Harmony Road flood at 21 to 22
  feet. Athens Community Center parking lot and tennis courts flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:15 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 11.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
    tonight to a crest of 21.5 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will
    then fall below flood stage early Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 21.3
    feet on 03/03/2017.
