...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...
Flatrock River near Columbus.
Big Blue River at Shelbyville.
Driftwood River near Edinburgh.
East Fork White River at Columbus.
.Additional heavy rainfall tonight will bring moderate flooding to
parts of the East Fork White and its tributaries.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement should be issued late tonight by around 330 AM

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Flatrock River near Columbus.
* WHEN...Until early Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Extensive flooding in progress along the
Flatrock River. Portions of Riverside Drive north of US Highway
31 are flooded. According to the Columbus Response Plan...
Indianapolis Road is flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 11.6 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:30 AM EDT Thursday was 11.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.0
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage Saturday evening.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:45 AM EDT Thursday was 13.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.0

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON TO LATE MONDAY
MORNING...
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Driftwood River near Edinburgh.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to late Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 14.9 feet, Extensive flooding along Driftwood River
in northern Bartholomew County on March 7, 2011. Double Y Saddle
Club area extensively flooded. Water flowing over CR 950N to Club.
CR 330W is flooded just south of its intersection with Ohio Ridge
Rd. CR 500N west of CR 250W is flooded blocking vehicular access
to residences near the river bank. Lowell Public Access site is
completely flooded. Water very near several residences and
seasonal homes along CR 330W and CR 325W.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 9.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 15.3 feet early Saturday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday
evening.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

MORNING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...East Fork White River at Columbus.
* WHEN...From this evening to early Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 11.6 feet, Water is very close to CR 325 W just south
of Lowell Rd. Mill Race Park flooded as is the area behind West
Hill Shopping Center and portions of the Holiday Inn Express
parking lot. Tellman Road is flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 5.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
evening to 11.3 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall
Saturday morning. It will rise to 11.7 feet Saturday evening.
It will then fall below flood stage Sunday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
