* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Northwestern New Hanover County in southeastern North
Carolina...

* WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 654 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2.5 and 7.5 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wilmington, Kings Grant, Murrayville, Cape Fear Community College
North Campus, Wilmington International Airport, Windemere,
Mayfaire, Wrightsboro, University Of North Carolina At
Wilmington, Ogden, Hightsville, Seagate and Cape Fear Hospital.
