...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM NOON EDT TODAY THROUGH MONDAY

MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Florida, including the following areas, Baker,

Coastal Duval, Coastal Nassau, Eastern Hamilton, Inland Nassau,

Northern Columbia, South Central Duval, Trout River, Western Duval

and Western Hamilton and southeast Georgia, including the following

areas, Appling, Atkinson, Bacon, Brantley, Clinch, Coastal Camden,

Coastal Glynn, Coffee, Echols, Inland Camden, Inland Glynn, Jeff

Davis, Northeastern Charlton, Northern Ware, Pierce, Southern Ware,

* WHEN...From noon EDT today through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,

creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - A Flood Watch is in effect due to the potential for localized to

scattered rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches. Because previous

rain has already partially saturated soils, additional heavy or

training downpours will quickly lead to flooding

  - Areas along I-10 in Northeast Florida and all of Southeast

    Georgia

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
