Iowa River near Lone Tree affecting Washington, Johnson and Louisa
Counties.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Flood waters affect parts of Lola Lane and
Y Avenue. River Junction Access Park is closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 15.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this afternoon to a crest of 16.8 feet tomorrow morning. It will
then fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
