...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...Kansas...

  Little Osage River near Horton affecting Vernon County.

  Sac River near Caplinger Mills affecting Cedar County.

  Marmaton River at Fort Scott affecting Bourbon County.

  Osage River at Taberville affecting St. Clair and Vernon Counties.

For the Little Osage River...including Horton...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
For the Marmaton River...including Fort Scott...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Osage River...including Taberville...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Sac River...including Caplinger Mills...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sac River near Caplinger Mills.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to early Wednesday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this afternoon to a crest of 22.3 feet tomorrow evening.
    It will then fall below flood stage late Tuesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    22.3 feet on 11/21/1979.

* WHERE...Little Osage River near Horton.

* WHEN...From this evening to Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 45.0 feet, moderate flooding occurs at the gage site.
  Low lying areas along Route D near Stotesbury flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 35.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 41.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this evening to a crest of 45.1 feet early Tuesday morning.
    It will then fall below flood stage late Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    45.1 feet on 08/09/2013.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING TO EARLY
TUESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Marmaton River at Fort Scott.

* WHEN...From Monday morning to early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 38.0 feet, minor flooding begins along Mill Creek
  north of town due to backwater effects of the Marmaton River.
  Flood waters also spill across the field by the Red Barn
  Restaurant, on the north side of town, at the new Highway 69
  Bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 12.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 38.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow morning to a crest of 38.4 feet early tomorrow
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 38.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    38.4 feet on 05/28/2008.

FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Osage River at Taberville.

* WHEN...From late Monday night until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 27.5 feet, flood waters impact all of the low lying
  areas in the Schell Osage Conservation Area as well as several
  county roads west of Schell City.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 19.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Tuesday morning and continue rising to a crest of 27.2
    feet Wednesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    27.5 feet on 10/17/2018.
