* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Sampson County in central North Carolina...
Southwestern Wayne County in central North Carolina...

* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 307 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen in some locations.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Goldsboro, Clinton, Mount Olive, Walnut Creek, Harrells,
Roseboro, Garland, Newton Grove, Salemburg, Turkey, Autryville,
Seven Springs, Hobbton, Grantham, Brogden, Mar- Mac, Ivanhoe,
Cliffs Of The Neuse State Park and Elroy.
