...The National Weather Service in Chicago IL has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Illinois...

  Du Page River at Shorewood affecting Will County.

For the Du Page River...including Shorewood...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Warning means water levels above flood stage are imminent or
may already be occurring. Persons along rivers and streams in the
warned area should take immediate precautions to protect life and
property.

These forecasts are based on observed precipitation as well as
forecast precipitation 24 hours into the future. Changes to the
rainfall forecast, or any additional rainfall after 24 hours, may
cause changes to these river forecasts.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE MONDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Du Page River from IL-59 in Plainfield downstream to
  confluence with Des Plaines River, including the Shorewood gauge.

* WHEN...Until late Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 17.5 feet, Numerous sections of Rolf Road and Lily
  Cache Road west of Louis Joliet Mall are inundated. Lower portions
  of Electric Park in Plainfield are inundated. The west I-55
  frontage road is threatened between Black Road and Jefferson
  Street. Parking lot threatened at Hammel Woods just north of
  Jefferson Street (US-52) in Shorewood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 16.9 feet Sunday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 15.5 feet.
