Official Bulletin

...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS POSSIBLE SATURDAY...

.A cold front will move through the area later today bringing
very dry air with RH values falling into the low to mid 30s along
with windy conditions with some gusts around 30 mph. The
combination of gusty winds, current drought conditions, ample dry
fuel, and very dry conditions will allow any fire that develops
to spread quickly.

The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Red Flag
Warning all southern Mississippi and portions of southeast
Louisiana, which is in effect from 9 AM to 8 PM CDT Saturday. The
Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
