* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Flooding of wooded areas near the river
  will occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 16.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM CDT Monday was 17.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tonight and continue falling to 14.7 feet Saturday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Oberlin.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding near the river will
  occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 12.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tonight to a crest of 14.0 feet Wednesday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage early Friday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Glenmora.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Some roads upstream from Glenmora,
  including Strothers Crossing Road near the community of Calcasieu
  and Price Crossing Road near Hineston have two to three feet of
  water over the road and are subject to being closed. Flooding of
  forested areas near the river will also occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 14.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 PM CDT Monday was 14.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.0
    feet just after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* WHERE...Pine Island Bayou near Sour Lake.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Water inundates roads in lowland areas
  near the river. Low spots on Old Sour Lake Road are under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 26.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 PM CDT Monday was 26.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Thursday afternoon and continue falling to 23.3 feet Saturday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

  be closed to recreational boat traffic.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:50 PM CDT Monday was 3.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 2.9 feet Saturday
    evening.
