White River at Spencer.
...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
following rivers in Indiana...
White River near Centerton.
.Major flooding continues along the White River. The crest is past
Noblesville as of late Saturday morning and should reach Nora and
Ravenswood tonight and Raymond Street in Indianapolis overnight.
Centerton is forecast to see Moderate flooding by late Sunday night
and Spencer on Tuesday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHERE...White River below Eagle Valley Power Plant.
* WHEN...Until late Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 607.0 feet, Extensive flooding of agricultural
lands. Blue Bluff and Paragon Roads are impassable. Flood waters
affect a few homes in Waverly.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 607.3
feet early Monday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage late Thursday evening.
- Flood stage is 603.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Hyden Road, Fifth Avenue, and west side of
Cooper Street in southern Spencer begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 12.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 20.4 feet early Wednesday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday, August
22.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
