...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Illinois...

  White River at Elliston.

  White River at Petersburg.

  White River at Hazleton.

  White River at Edwardsport.

  Wabash River at Vincennes.

  Wabash River at Riverton.

  Wabash River at Terre Haute.

  Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

  Wabash River at Montezuma.

  Wabash River at Mount Carmel.

  East Fork White River at Seymour.

.Heavy rainfall has brought minor lowland flooding to much of the
Wabash River, the lower White River, and the East Fork White at
Seymour. The crest on the Wabash is near Riverton. The crest on the
White is approaching Centerton, and on the East Fork white is
approaching Seymour.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

  150 W in Greene County.  Some low lying agricultural land begins
  to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - There is no current observed data.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow morning to a crest of 18.6 feet early Wednesday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday
    morning.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Vincennes.

* WHEN...Until late Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Considerable agricultural flooding extends
  from just north of the junction of Illinois 33 with Business 50 to
  the St. Francesville, Illinois area.  River Road from Lincoln
  Memorial Bridge to Billett Rd is impassable.  Extensive seep water
  forms behind Illinois levees extending from Russellville to U.S.
  Highway 50.  Flooding of agricultural land begins in Knox County
  Indiana west of the railroad extending for the Oaktown area to the
  north side of Vincennes.  Extensive flooding of Small Creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:45 AM EDT Monday /10:45 AM CDT Monday/ the stage was
    16.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:45 AM EDT Monday /10:45 AM CDT Monday/ was 16.1
    feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.6
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage late Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Low bottomlands flood and flooding begins
  on higher bottomlands.  State Road 257 may begin to flood if
  Shoals gage reading is over 17 feet.  Private levees may be
  overtopped in many cases.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:45 AM EDT Monday /10:45 AM CDT Monday/ the stage was
    16.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:45 AM EDT Monday /10:45 AM CDT Monday/ was 16.2
    feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.1

  cabins.  County roads to these cabins are impassable.
  Agricultural flooding is in progress.  Seep water develops behind
  levees.

    18.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Terre Haute.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, Lowest river cabins across from the Wabash
  Generating Station begin to flood. Flooding of agricultural land
  along U.S. 63 north of Terre Haute, west bank of river and in
  southwest Vigo County occurs. County roads flood in southwest Vigo
  County. The wetland projects between U.S. 40 and I-70 begin to
  slowly fill.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:30 AM EDT Monday /10:30 AM CDT Monday/ the stage was
    18.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:30 AM EDT Monday /10:30 AM CDT Monday/ was 18.8
    feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tomorrow morning and continue falling and remain below
    flood stage.

  side.  Hutson Creek begins to overflow from backwater.  Old Darwin
  Road and a few rural roads in eastern Clark and Crawford counties
  in Illinois are impassable.  Low agricultural land floods.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.0

  Pottstown, a river cabin community.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Old Vincennes Road and residential
  property in this area begin to flood.  Flooding of low
  agricultural fields occurs along portions of the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 AM EDT Monday /6:00 AM CDT Monday/ the stage was 13.9
    feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall to 13.8 feet this afternoon.
    It will then rise above flood stage just after midnight
    tonight to 15.3 feet tomorrow morning. It will fall to 15.1
    feet tomorrow evening. It will then rise to 15.9 feet
    Wednesday evening. It will fall below flood stage Thursday
    afternoon.

SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Mount Carmel.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon to early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, River is bankfull in all locations.  All
  oil field production ceases with the exception of pumping units on
  substructures.  Access to these are by boat only.  Agricultural
  losses increase dramatically.  Farmers move livestock to higher
  ground.  City of Mount Carmel leaves flood gates B and C in year
  round.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:45 AM EDT Monday /10:45 AM CDT Monday/ the stage was
    16.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 20.2 feet Thursday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage Friday
    afternoon.
