...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...

  East Fork White River at Seymour.

  White River at Edwardsport.

  White River at Petersburg.

.Minor river flooding is ongoing or expected to develop on the lower
White River and East Fork White River in Jackson County following
widespread heavy rainfall Wednesday and Wednesday night. Additional
heavy rainfall of one to two inches is expected on Sunday and Sunday
night. The White River near Edwardsport and East Fork White River
near Seymour will briefly fall below flood stage later today or
Sunday before minor river flooding develops again early next week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Edwardsport.

* WHEN...Until Sunday, June 28.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Old Vincennes Road and State Road 358 in
  Daviess County and Schaefer Road in Knox County are impassable.
  High water affects agricultural bottomlands.  During agricultural
  season this level is of concern to farmers on the unprotected
  areas along the river.  High water affects river cabins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 AM EDT Saturday /6:00 AM CDT Saturday/ the stage was
    15.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:00 AM EDT Saturday /6:00 AM CDT Saturday/ was
    15.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 15.8 feet this evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to
    12.4 feet early Tuesday morning. It will rise above flood
    stage early Wednesday morning to 17.8 feet Friday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage again Sunday, June 28.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Pasture lands, agricultural lands and
  several county and state roads begin to flood. High water isolates
  a few river cabins. State Road 235 east of Medora and county roads
  near Shields and Vallonia flood. Roads that begin to flood include
  SR 258 east of Cortland, CR 725 N just north of the gaging site
  and Ewing Road near Brownstown.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:45 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 12.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:45 AM EDT Saturday was 14.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.2
    feet Wednesday morning. It will then rise to 14.2 feet
    Wednesday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

JUNE 30...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Petersburg.

* WHEN...From late Sunday night to Tuesday, June 30.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Low bottomlands flood and flooding begins
  on higher bottomlands.  State Road 257 may begin to flood if
  Shoals gage reading is over 17 feet.  Private levees may be
  overtopped in many cases.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:45 AM EDT Saturday /10:45 AM CDT Saturday/ the stage
    was 13.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage early Monday
    morning to 18.1 feet Tuesday morning. It will then fall
    Wednesday evening. It will rise to 19.0 feet Saturday, June
    27. It will then fall below flood stage Monday, June 29.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
