...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...

  Wabash River at Covington.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...Indiana...

  Wabash River at Riverton.

  Wabash River at Terre Haute.

  Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

  Wabash River at Montezuma.

  Wabash River at Vincennes.

.Minor river flooding continues on the Wabash River from Montezuma
down to Riverton, with the crest between Terre Haute and Riverton.
Additional heavy rainfall expected late today into tonight will lead
to rising river stages early next week...with minor flooding also
starting on the Wabash at Covington Tuesday evening and Vincennes
Monday evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Covington.

* WHEN...Until Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Low agricultural lands begin to flood.
  Backyard flooding of cottages on right bank starts a short
  distance upstream of gage.  Critical stage of Young-Neal Levee is
  reached.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    Tuesday evening to a crest of 16.4 feet Wednesday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage early Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, High water surrounds elevated river
  cabins.  County roads to these cabins are impassable.
  Agricultural flooding is in progress.  Seep water develops behind
  levees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 AM EDT Sunday /10:00 AM CDT Sunday/ the stage was
    17.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:00 AM EDT Sunday /10:00 AM CDT Sunday/ was 17.3
    feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.4
    feet early Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood
    stage Monday, June 29.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Terre Haute.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, Flooding of rural roads is in progress
  behind Honey Creek Levee as a result of two unrepaired levee
  breaks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:30 AM EDT Sunday /10:30 AM CDT Sunday/ the stage was
    18.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:30 AM EDT Sunday /10:30 AM CDT Sunday/ was 19.2
    feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.9
    feet Tuesday evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    late Friday evening.
  - Flood stage is 16.5 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

* WHEN...Until Monday, June 29.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Leaverton Park in Palestine and park in
  Hutsonville begin to flood.  Agricultural flooding spreads to
  higher land.  Seep water is noticeable behind levees.  Some
  elevated river cottages are surrounded by water.  Several county
  or township roads east of Lincoln Heritage Trail between Palestine
  and Hutsonville in Crawford County Illinois are impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - There is no current observed data.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 19.3 feet early Wednesday
    afternoon. It will then fall Wednesday evening. It will rise
    to 19.3 feet early Thursday morning. It will then fall below
    flood stage Sunday, June 28.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

  - At 11:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 16.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:45 AM EDT Sunday was 18.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.2
    feet early Tuesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage late Friday evening.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

28...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Vincennes.

* WHEN...From Monday evening to Sunday, June 28.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Considerable agricultural flooding extends
  from just north of the junction of Illinois 33 with Business 50 to
  the St. Francesville, Illinois area.  River Road from Lincoln
  Memorial Bridge to Billett Rd is impassable.  Extensive seep water
  forms behind Illinois levees extending from Russellville to U.S.
  Highway 50.  Flooding of agricultural land begins in Knox County
  Indiana west of the railroad extending for the Oaktown area to the
  north side of Vincennes.  Extensive flooding of Small Creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:45 AM EDT Sunday /10:45 AM CDT Sunday/ the stage was
    14.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow evening to a crest of 16.9 feet early Tuesday
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday
    afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
