* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Northern Fairfield County in central Ohio...
Franklin County in central Ohio...
Southwestern Licking County in central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 815 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 517 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5
inches are possible.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Columbus, Dublin, Westerville, Reynoldsburg, Grove City, Upper
Arlington, Gahanna, Hilliard, Pickerington, Worthington, Bexley,
Pataskala, Canal Winchester, Groveport, Baltimore, Bremen,
Minerva Park, Millersport and Pleasantville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
