Official Bulletin

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 27-32 degrees likely,
along with fairly widespread frost formation.

* WHERE...Portions of north central Kansas and central, east central,
and south central Nebraska, including the Tri Cities.

* WHEN...From late Friday night through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Confidence is increasing that at least
slightly sub-freezing temperatures and widespread frost formation
will likely occur early Saturday morning. As a result, it is
probable that most, if not all, of this Watch will be converted to
a Warning during the day Friday.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.
